Now I have got myself a shiney Canon 10D and it is so slow at image transfer. I don't know what the hell it is doing, it seems to pause for 20 seconds between image. Transfering 100 pictures from the fuji takes no time at all, whereas beyond 20 on the canon you have to worry about the battery running out! Amazing considering the resolution of the images is lower. Lucky I am not using raw - it would be there all day.

Howdy all, Last week I bought a PQI flash card reader for $45AUD (cheapskate aren't I?) that said it would work in Mac OS 8.6 + I took it home plugged it in (USB) and it froze every app that was open on my machine (itunes, terminal, everything). Anyway, after a couple of cold boots I got the shits and took it back for a refund. Then I bought a SanDisk one (for $85 AUD, also USB) which had 'Built for OS X' on the packaging. 'Cool' I though, 'This will work'. Did it - nope. Same thing as the cheapie - froze up everything that was running. Went to the Apple site and found this: 167925649 regarding flash cards not mounting.
